          With this summer heat wave,  everyone is looking for a way to cool down, have fun and stay safe. The Beaverton Harbour is a solution to all of the above!  The Township of Brock and the Beaverton Lions Club have worked hard to make the harbour a summer destination for residents and visitors alike.

It has several amenities available:  

  • the “pier”, for fishing and swimming,
  • A public boat launch,
  • The Randy Skinner Family Splash Pad that is open 10am to 7pm,
  • The Beaverton Lions Playground for kids of all ages to enjoy, and
  • The entire facility contains picnic tables, a beach, benches, public washrooms, free parking and plenty of trees to be shaded under all day.

You can also visit Barney’s, a fun and family friendly restaurant, serving good food and ice cream from breakfast throughout the afternoon.

The Beaverton Harbour is an excellent solution to beat the heat and have some fun this summer!
