At the beginning of 2018, during our Strategic Planning discussions for the Board of Trade, we set an ambitious goal of attaining 100 members by the end of 2018.  This was a 25% increase in membership that allows us to continue the work we have started, and to take on more value-added undertakings for our growing membership.

We are so pleased to announce that at our July 17th Member Appreciation, Networking and Open-House event, we achieved our goal!!!  Thank you to all our members for their support and participation growing our organization.  We look forward to more growth in Brock’s business community.

Speaking of the July 17th event – it was a huge success!  Food, wine, stories, networking and improv fun were all achieved.  Special thanks go out to The Welder’s Wife, Beaverton Metal Works, Beaverton Self Storage & Hicktown Mini Bins for hosting the event.  We’d also like to thank Fellini’s Fine Wine, Cool Cow and the Beaverton Town Hall Players improv group for adding to the deliciousness and fun!

What’s Coming Up:

  • August 19, 2018 – Brock Board of Trade 3rd Annual Best Ball Golf Tournament
    This is a fun day of networking, fresh-air and laughs.  This year, we are hosting on a Sunday to allow more businesses to play.  We are also combining our August Brock Networking Group meeting with this event after golf and for dinner.  Cost for an incredible roast beef dinner is $35.  There are many opportunities to get SEEN, HEARD and CONNECTED at this event, so contact us to see how your business or group can best be highlighted!
  • September 18, 2018 – Brock Networking Group Monthly Meeting
    Join us to meet, connect and learn at our monthly networking meeting. $10 per person for breakfast.  September will be hosted in the new space at Rolling Hills Studio in Sunderland with Anja Kooistra.
  • November issue of Brock Talk
    Last year’s Shop Local issue was a great success offering Brock shopping coupons and advertisements. We will be creating another Shop Local Issue just in time to do your holiday shopping locally.  If this is a good fit for your business, let us know so you can have a coupon/ad in this edition!
